This is an 8″ x 8″ square 12-month wall calendar featuring one large captioned picture per month. The calendars are professionally printed in California and they are hole punched for wall hanging. I *do not* put sweaters on goats myself; I photographed all the goats as I found them during my work and travels in India! The 2020 calendar is the 7th edition!
More than 50% of the proceeds of the Sweatered Goat calendar will benefit Asha Deep Vidyashram, a school that serves over 200 K-8th grade students in an economically disadvantaged neighborhood in Varanasi, India. All of Asha Deep’s students are the children of illiterate parents, and the school is determined to give these children a quality education that combines academic success with additional focuses on students’ self-esteem, promoting compassion and gender equality, and teaching healthy conflict resolution and environmental awareness. The school also provides a school lunch and runs an after-school program so that students have a healthy and fun way to spend their evenings. The goats are proud to support Asha Deep’s important work and give back to the goats’ local community in Varanasi. In 2019, we were able to donate $12,700 to Asha Deep School!
